SUMMARY:StartUpBuses Rolling Into Town
DESCRIPTION:Six of the eleven StartupBuses from around the country wil
 l be pulling into Baton Rouge tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Varsity Thea
 tre for a tremendous welcome and meetup hosted by the Regional Innovat
 ion Organization (RIO).  All are invited to come out and show your su
 pport for the Louisiana StartupBus.  The buses pulling in are from Ne
 w York, Boston, Ohio, Washington, D.C., Florida, and Louisiana.  The 
 buses are loaded with technology entrepreneurs from each of those regi
 ons.  The Louisiana bus has entrepreneurs from across the state and a
 lso includes three members from Silicon Valley, three from Chicago, an
 d one from Arkansas.\n \nStartupBus is a highly successful nationwide
  event that creates an amazing experience for entrepreneurs.  This is
  the third year for the running of the buses and this past December th
 ere was also a StartupBus Europe.  The vision is to empower the peopl
 e that create change in the world and who can disrupt the status quo.�
 �\n \nStartupBus does this by hosting an annual competition originati
 ng from eleven cities around the country where strangers form approxim
 ately six teams per bus and each creates a startup while traveling for
  three days.  The startups launch on arrival at South By Southwest �
 �SXSW” in Austin and also compete to be chosen as the top startup fr
 om all the buses through the StartupBus Pitch Competition, which occur
 s at SWSW.  This is an intense experience where lifelong relationship
 s are formed and participants become part of an alumni network that su
 pports, leverages, and encourages each other on their future entrepren
