For those of you that weren't in attendance at RIO's Innovation Take-Out on February 9th, you missed the big news - Louisiana is going to sponsor/host it's own StartupBus.
The bus route is going to bridge the startup scenes across Louisiana (Unofficially planned: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Lafayette).

Facebook has taken over Google in traffic and is becoming more popular with consumers. With the constant innovation between these two tech companies, they are bound to encroach on each other territory. Keep an eye out for facebook to enter the information searching market in the next year or two.
