This month I saw my one of my ultimate goals and dreams come to pass: the publication of my first book, Get off Your Attitude!
For two years, I have been working on it and I must be honest with you, it wasn’t easy. It was a struggle. There were times that I thought “this is never going to happen.” The long hours, late nights at Starbucks, working weekends and daily efforts might have been time wasted. I asked myself:…Continue

Your life is not only a lifelong project—it’s a lifelong learning project. Approach it that way and you’ll always be developing better, smarter habits. The problem is most people work harder on their jobs than they do on themselves. What do I mean by that?
My junior year of college I quit the University of Southern Mississippi to move to Dallas and start my career. After a year or so, I was on my way to making a good income. I…Continue

My name is Farah Gheith and I am VP of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization at LSU. This is a nationally recognized group, c-e-o.org, and they have a national conference and other entrepreneurial events for college students. We are trying to set up the schedule, and I was wondering if anyone had any idea about any workshops or hands on events that our members could attend. Also, does anyone know someone who is willing to come speak to our chapter at a time of…Continue
A colleague and I were interviewing Emmet and Toni Stephenson, founders and namesakes of LSU’s Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute (SEI). If you're a real entrepreneur and want to grow a startup business you'd serve yourself well to read Michele Prices recent SeNSE blog post "The 12 Reasons..."
As someone who's been in sales (and engineering and corporate education) for over 30 years I couldn't agree more with her premise that it's important to create an environment of mutual respect.
